I'm not sure what either of those things are supposed to mean. I'm aware soldiers get paid. Or that there's money involved in war. Uh, so? They're inarticulate, like graffiti is this guy's second language.
While the stencil graffiti does have a beautifying effect on much of Kabul's faded, dusty walls, and the stencils were probably done at considerable risk, they don't engage, they bore. Banksy - the obvious inspiration - is articulate and thought provoking.
